June 2008Holmes Wholesale Services teamed up with the Today's Group for a special 21st birthday celebration featuring special price promotions, prize draws and a series of fun road shows. Each road show featured a complimentary barbecue with appearances by celebrity lookalikes "Del Boy" Trotter and Bruce Forsyth as well as sound-alikes Elvis Presley, Cher and Annie Lennox.
While Elvis, Cher and Annie Lennox took to the stage, Holmes customers were invited by Bruce Forsyth and Del Boy to play a fun version of the "Play Your Cards Right" game and win "Brucie Bonus" prizes, including the chance to win the star prize, a Volkswagon Fox.
The Holmes celebrations also included an exclusive promotion offering customers the chance to win pairs of tickets for Paul Weller in concert at the Odyssey Arena and productions of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and Disney's High School Musical at the Grand Opera House in Belfast.
