with a comprehensive programme of 3-weekly promotional offers supported
with high quality point of sale kits, supplier merchandising and
PR activity.
At key trading periods consumer marketing support is increased
to further enhance retail sales. Retailers are provided with consumer
marketing leaflets, which are distributed locally through newspaper
inserts and doorstep drops to drive sales of select promotional
lines.
Supported by a national press advertising campaign - through such
titles as the Sunday Life, Irish News and Sunday World - this direct
marketing activity increases footfall and generates additional business
for retailers in the fiercely competitive convenience store sector. |
